  • Carprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent used to relieve pain and inflammation in dogs.

  • Cephalosporins are a group of antibiotics used to treat infections caused by gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Cephalosporins are most commonly used to treat respiratory, skeletal, urinary, skin and soft tissue infections.

  • Chemotherapy drugs are used to treat cancer and other conditions in people because they target and kill rapidly dividing neoplastic (cancer) cells and other cells. They’re primarily used as anti-cancer agents, but may also provide benefit for a variety of auto-immune disorders and for organ transplant recipients as immunosuppressive agents.

  • Chlorambucil is used to suppress the immune system and to treat abnormal tissue growth that may be either benign or cancerous. Examples of conditions the drug may be used for include lymphocytic leukemia, multiple myeloma, glomerulonephritis, non-erosive arthritis, immune-mediated skin disease, feline pemphigus foliaceous and severe feline eosinophilic granuloma complex.

  • Chlorothiazide and hydrochlorothiazide are diuretics. They are used to help reduce the amount of water in the pet’s body by increasing the flow of urine. These medications are also used to treat high blood pressure by decreasing the workload of the heart and arteries.

  • Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine. Antihistamines are used to relieve or prevent the symptoms of allergy. Your veterinarian may prescribe this medication to prevent itching in dogs and cats. It may also be beneficial for managing cats that excessively groom themselves.

  • Chlorpromazine is primarily used to prevent vomiting. Your veterinarian may prescribe chlorpromazine to treat other conditions.

  • Cimetidine is a histamine-blocking agent. It helps reduce the amount of gastric acid secreted in the stomach. Cimetidine has been used for treating and preventing ulcers. It has also been used to treat gastritis and other reflux and hypersecretory conditions.

  • Fluoroquinolones are antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections. This medication has been prescribed to treat a bacterial infection of the eye. These infections may occur on the cornea (clear part of the eye) or in the conjunctiva (pink parts around the eyelids).

  • Ciprofloxacin and enrofloxacin are fluoroquinolone antibiotics. These medications are prescribed to treat bacterial infections. It may be prescribed for your animal to treat urinary tract, skin or respiratory tract infections.
